Warnbro Swans Football Club - Why Wouldn't ya !

To all members of Warnbro Swans Football Club

No doubt many of you have read the article in this weeks Sound Telegraph " Anti social Behavior Slammed"
The actions the club has taken in response to this are as follows.

A new bylaw was passed at an extrodinary meeting which basicly states that any Warnbro Swans logo is not to be used in any private unauthorised web site, publication, newsletter or advertising.

The people responsible for the sites mentioned in the article have been spoken to and were instructed to close the sites immediately.

All members must understand that these types of incidents are unacceptable by the club and in fact are very damaging.

The club has allways promoted itself as a family club providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our youth to participate in sporting activities and become valued members of our community.Providing this environment requires many volunteers time and effort along with valued assistance from our sponsors and patrons. These incidents are very damaging to the club and I urge all members to learn from this so we can move forward and get on with enjoying our football.

Warnbro Swans Football Club

Club History

The committee of WSFC would like any information regarding the history of the Warnbro Rec and the Trevor Senior Room.

There appears to be a lot of confusion at Rockingham shire in regards to who has management authority over these rooms.

In order for this club to move forward in regards to improving the facillities etc, we must be on firm ground and have a clear management agreement in place.

When talking to many of the members who have been around for a while, a common thread is that the football club had a major role in making both facilities happen through fundraising and free labour etc.

We need to compile an accurate diary of events in order to battle with the powers that be to get a favorable outcome for the club.

I'm calling on everyone to put your memories down on paper and if you have any documentry evidence that we can use, please get that to me.
