Season 2010 begins!

 Preseason training is well under way, the footy's are out and the first scratchies are fast approaching!

So if you haven't already shown your face down the club or know somebody that has put on a few extra Kg's over summer and needs a run, get your backside down to the Rec at 6pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings. With 3 Senior teams as well as Colts, there is plenty of room to get onboard with the Swannies in 2010.

  • West Coast Eagles State Amateur Colts Squad
    The final squad for the West Coast Eagles State Amateur Colts team to take on the WA State 16's has been announced.

    We would like to thank all players who tried out for the team, and congratulate all members of the West Coast Eagles State Amateur Colts team for season 2009.

    The team is as follows;
  • Match of the Week - Kingsway v Maddington

    The Keystart Home Loans Match of the Week for round seven of the WAAFL season is the C Gold clash between former Sunday Football League rivals Kingsway and Maddington at Kingsway Reserve.

    This top of the table clash will be a test for both teams, with a strong rivalry going as far back as the 1988 SFL Grand Final, which saw Kingsway victorious over Maddington by 16 points after being down by 14 with ten minutes left in the season.

  • Rivalry produces tight battle

    The rivalry between the West Coast Eagles U/23 State Amateurs and the Peel Football League came to a head last night with the WAAFL running out winners despite Peel’s early pressure.

    Peel’s intensity proved difficult to manage early on for the WAAFL as they took a five point lead into the first change. The trend continued in the second quarter; the West Coast Eagles U/23 State Amateur team struggled to find space and could only manage five points as Peel hit the ball and the man hard adding three goals to be 22 points up at the midway point of the match.

  • West Coast Eagles U23 State Program
